Last Tuesday, Isaac and I drove to Kansas City to photograph Sarah and Andrew's engagement session. We started at a gorgeous park by the Plaza and then headed to Populous, where they work, so they could both change.
Just as a quick side note, she has the most darling hobbit home. No, really! The door was totally inspired by Lord of the Rings and I have pictures to prove it (coming soon).
Setting up the shot
When you walk in the main doors at Populous, there's this gorgeous shiplap-like wall that feels ultra modern and completely chic. It was a great spot for me to photograph the ring because...
- There was an abundance of natural light coming in from the large glass doors and windows.
- The wall fit with the overall style of the engagement session. She wore a feminine color-blocked Kate Spade dress.
