"How do you get such natural poses? How do you make the bride and groom look so in love?"

I'm excited to share the secrets of my posing process! After years of working with couples, I have found my own posing flow! The true secret is that my posing is different with each couple! While I was photographing girls at the Delight Retreat, one of them told me that I had an approach they had never seen before. "It's so... natural." Yay! That's what I love to hear!

She looked out the tall, white windows and into her childhood backyard. Madalyn was just minutes from seeing Conner and the room quieted. White trailed behind her as her Mom placed the veil in her hair. They laughed together and I thought I saw her Mom wipe away a happy tear.

I know because I can’t stand bent corners and Isaac delights in them. We scribbled down our highlights from the year. We celebrated the victories in our marriage, our personal growth, my business, and now, the little one growing inside me. And mostly the little one growing inside.

Tulle swept over the stones, catching bits of bright as the light escaped the shade of the trees. She wore the necklace that had been worn by his mother and grandmother on their wedding days. It was a gold chain holding a blue jewel that had speckles of pink and purple within. I'm sure it caught the light as she walked through the sun-spotted gardens, but she didn't notice.

Because he was standing there... just ahead.
