Sam and Mike Wedding in Illinois

They stood at the end of the dock in the middle of the pouring rain and he kissed her forehead. It was their own kind of golden hour. The kind where the world fades away with the sound of rain drops on an umbrella. The kind where you link hands and remember every moment because it's just the two of you.

And it's always been just the two of you.

Sam is sweet and I can see where she gets it. Her mom told me that I could do anything I wanted to their house while taking pictures. She said, "Jordan, this is just a house. But today is my daughter's wedding."

Mike led Sam to the end of the dock and they peered over the edge at the rising Mississippi below. He pointed to something in the distance and she leaned her head on his shoulder - almost instinctively. They know how to do together and now, hand-in-hand, they'll be doing together through all the golden hours.
