The simplified guide to blogging like a pro

I don't want resizing images, organization (read: workflow), or scheduling and sharing your post to hold you back any more.

1) Resize images for your blog

Drag and drop and drag and drop. Save and resize. Drag and drop. This was my blogging life before I met BlogStomp. You know those systems that take forever and a day to learn and add more time at the beginning than they are even worth? BlogStomp isn't like that.

It's easy, intuitive, and efficient! So if you feel like resizing images is what's holding you back from blogging, you're going to fall in love with blog stomp.

I like to include an image with each blog post. I even like to split up long sections of text with images. So BlogStomp makes it easy for me to get my images ready for the web (without slowing down my entire site).

2) Keep your blog organized on the back end

If you're a wordpress user, consider a tool like Coschedule to keep your content organized. Since Coschedule only integrates with Wordpress, I needed to find another solution after switching to Squarespace this summer. I know a lot of you made the switch after I shared this post, so I want to share how I'm scheduling blog content these days!

Meet my new best friend, Asana

Using Asana for Blogging

I use Asana for all of my workflows these days. Over on the lefthand side, you can create projects, queue up tasks and subtasks, schedule due dates and even assign the tasks to different team members. It's the easiest way for me to look at our content and move things around as needed!

3) Easily share your blog posts

Buffer keeps social sharing simple. You can queue up a link or an image from anywhere on the web and add it to your queue. We love doing this from our blog after each wedding. Here's a look at how we make it happen: How to Schedule posts for your facebook page!
