Terrie and Jeremy Wedding
It's hard to find the words to describe this wedding because there are so many that could be used. And isn't the point of writing that you know which ones to include? There were tears when the dress was on and there were tears when she saw her dad for the first time that day. There were tears as she remembered her mom and tears as she held Jeremy's hands just before they were married.
The whole day was full of tears but the beautiful thing about their wedding wasn't the emotion from the day. The beautiful thing was that Terrie and Jeremy had discovered that they could run harder together than they could have without. They laid the foundation for their marriage long before their wedding day.
They laid the foundation as they courageously and unconditionally loved each other in the months before the wedding. They were laying the foundation when they journeyed through the grief of Terrie's mom's death. They were laying the foundation when they decided that it would forever be just them and no other. They were laying the foundation when they decided that they were going to turn to Jesus and not to the world in the everyday.
I'm blessed by these two and the unwavering love that they have for each other. Terrie and Jeremy, Isaac and I are so thankful to have photographed your wedding day. I hope these images just become even more precious with time.
