They sat on the stairs of a historic home in Savannah and they read letters full of promise, endurance and commitment. To love. To cherish. To build the other up. To choose the other each day. He wiped away her tears on those old wooden stairs and they celebrated their ten years of marriage. Not because marriage is easy, but because they still chose each other in every hardship endured. They told each other of the unrelenting love that had been refined and wasn't based on circumstance, but on the One who had brought them together in the first place.
