Portraits of Jordan Brittley (that's me!)
The grey skies create this crisp light against the walls of our home. Soft, calm days like this remind me to just take things slow and soak it all up. I'm 5 months pregnant with our little baby boy and I know that the new year is going to bring a lot of new things. A lot of wonderfully new things that will come with their own challenges. And I catch myself wishing that I knew how to be a stay at home mom and a business owner already. Because I like to have a plan and do it all perfectly.
But I know how to follow Jesus and that's enough.
Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord.
For those of you who are curious, the glare in the photographs is from a piece of 8x10 glass (pictured above). I just used it to reflect the light from the window into the camera!
