So that last assignment in our #jbhomeworksessions proved to be much more challenging than I thought it would be! That makes me even more excited (and nervous) to give the next challenge! In the last challenge, you weren't allowed to photograph the subject's face. It actually proved the importance of the face in a photograph to me... it was hard for me as the artist to connect to Jianna without being able to see her face. This time around, the challenge is to ONLY photograph the subject's face. Take this challenge and make it your own. See the world differently. Shoot your subject differently. The goal of this is to connect with your subject and let your viewers connect too. I will be sharing my session at the end of the month and I can't wait to see your work!
The challenge: Only photograph the subject's face.
The due date: August 27th

1) Don't wait until the last minute to photograph your subject.
2) Think about how you want to approach the challenge (previsualization) before you shoot.
3) Challenge yourself with light and location.
