Jaelyn and David Proposal

Stockton Lake Proposal - Jordan Brittley Photography The tall grass swayed with the breeze that came in off the shimmering lake. They got out of the car and walked where David led. He led her past the people, through the path, and to a place with a view. Because that's how they like to spend their time. With only a view of the lake and each other.

He had driven around the entire lake that day and found it difficult to find the spot. He knew Jaclyn would want a secluded spot that was beautiful and private. So he searched and he searched. They say that you will find whatever you are looking for. And when he got down on one knee and asked Jaelyn to be his wife, I would say that he had found the one he was looking for.

I can't wait to photograph engagements for these two. There is this authentic softness that seems to abound when they are together. It pulls you in and is so very peaceful.

Now can I just say how THRILLED I am?! Because friends, my sister is engaged to a good man. David, thanks for having me take photos of this special moment. Jaelyn, I have so many words for you and you can trust they will all fit in my toast.
