Sometimes you just need to slow down, drive around, and wander through gardens. That's what Isaac and I did a couple of Saturdays ago in Kansas City and I am so glad we did.
My uncle took me to the Jerusalem Cafe when I visited him one summer in college and I have been wanting to go back for years! We sat at our table and ate hummus, kabobs and shared a piece of baklava for dessert. Then we drove through the plaza and landed on this garden that felt like it was tucked in the middle of nowhere. I dream of landscaping like this one day at our home.
Just imagine a private dinner party with friends under the stars. We held hands, took our time, and read about the flowers that are grown in this garden. This place holds memories, friends.
