Daniel and I have this new thing where we go to Starbucks in our pajamas. You should see our cute little boy in his carseat with his footie pjs! It's enough to make your heart pitter patter. If you're on insta-story, you know what I'm talking about!
Since the closest Starbucks is 45 minutes away, this means I pack snacks (so many snacks) and we listen to podcasts. He talks about his favorite animals, the sky, and the cars that pass us by. I don't remember why these started, but I'm so thankful for them! It's the best way for us to get out of the house and into the world during the winter months when the stroller and the great outdoors don't mix. Plus, if you could only see his face when I ask him if he wants to go on a "car ride adventure"!
Do you remember how I mentioned that I pushed the launch of the presets back? I love just getting things done, so this felt like a big decision for me. I asked myself if I was avoiding the launch (super not!) or if this meant that I had failed because I needed to push it back. I share this in case you find yourself in a similar situation. Over the last month, I have seen so much good from pushing back the launch!
I know these presets can change a business and give creatives their lives back! So I've been praying for a stress-free launch and that these presets would truly change the businesses they meet. Pushing back the launch has brought so much freedom and made this process so fun! There are no late nights away from my family - no weekend in a hotel just so I can get it done (I considered that at one point). This launch is becoming life-giving to me and my family! Praise the Lord. He is so good and I'm thankful I listened to Him about pushing it back!
The Lord has done so, so much with Victory's life and I can't wait to share it all with you! I knew there were other people who had lost a baby, but He's using her life in really powerful ways online and offline. I'll be sharing more as we're ready to write through it all!
My word for the month is ASK. My biggest goal - the one that stirs something in me just thinking about it - is to grow in my prayer life. To ask the Lord my questions, to ask Him for specific things in my business and personal life, and to expect that He will show up. I've seen Him do it over and over again and I want to believe Him for some big things this year - promises He's made me!
